D.Michael, Response the government raises the tax price in sodas.

Soda is one of the most popular kinds of drinks in the world. Therefore a lot of people buy it. It sells the most in the united state, because soda is one the cheapest drinks in the united state. Also Soda is easy to find; you can find soda in any place such as: Grocery stores, Supermarket and many more etc.
It would be a good idea if the government raises the tax price in sodas. It can help because the more expensive it gets the less people would buy it. Somehow I’m agree somehow I’m not the reason I’m not agree because the economy is to low that’s peoples cannot buy the pensive dink, if the soda prices are too low and anyone can buy it. Sodas Cost less than the Healthy Drinks, therefore people choose to buy sodas because it’s cheaper. Example: The government doesn’t want people to smoke because smoking creates a lot of disease so the government increases the tax price. The government cares about how cigarettes can cause cancer and etc. Therefore they raise the price and they gave a rule that you have to be at least 21 to smoke a cigar and they even raise the price so less people would buy it. They spent all their time caring about cigars and pay less attention to sodas and soda is a big issuer because of all the chemicals they put in it. I think the government should try to persuade people to not buy sodas. Or either makes the soda company’s put fewer chemicals in their sodas and put more fruits. Because Soft drinks contain little to no vitamins or other essential nutrients and also Soft drinks have long been suspected of leading to lower calcium levels and higher phosphate levels in the blood. When phosphate levels are high and calcium levels are low, calcium is pulled out of the bones. The reason I’m agree for the government to raise the price is because The phosphate content of soft drinks is very high, and they contain virtually no calcium a lot of research has found that consumption of soft drinks in high quantity, especially by children, is responsible for many health problems that include heart disease, cancer, high level of cholesterol, etc.
I have found some idea by: the tax to combat America’s sugary diet title news paper

And also another news paper that support my idea the title is: soda taxes are nothing more than a money Grab.
